Depending on how he crafts the clock, the moving object can vary in terms of strength, speed, fortification, and dexterity.

moving and controlling inanimate objects through verbal command by equipping it with a windable clock. Used to complete any given order(s), and won't stop until the objective has been fulfilled, or if time runs out. Animation restarts when wound up by Fei's winding key. When not given a specific instruction, the object can make simple, logic-based decisions on its own.

mechanism is the same as Animate, but BioAnimate grants movement to something biological (plants, animals, humans...etc) by placing a clock on the living organism, and it phases into their body. For example, equipping the clock within a paralyzed arm can allow it to move for an intended duration of time. The contrecoeur of animating something living is significantly worse.

Easygoing and kind would be how most describe him. Going with the flow, Fei enjoys taking each experience moment by moment, while creating new memories with good friends. He avoids serious conversations, and finds joy in bringing happiness to others. He is also very playful, and his energy level is influenced by the energies and people around him. 

Fei is affectionate to a fault, as he lacks a sense of personal space and will never stop to think twice before pouncing on, and hugging anything that moves. Regardless of relationship status, gender, species, or overall comfort with physical contact, he will obliviously impose his loving bear hugs on all his unsuspecting victims. He can be quite childish at times, throwing baby tantrums and being stubborn in getting what he wants.

Wanting to maintain a pleasant and kind persona, he often represses his negative thoughts and emotions behind a gentle smile. He has a difficult time saying "no", and will almost never decline favours or requests. Often times his kindness is taken advantage of, as his overly trusting and gullible nature makes him sympathetic and easily swayed by sweet and melancholic words. More than being oblivious, he is more than aware of being deceived or mistreated, but he chooses not to notice, or to take action. He dislikes nothing more than to worry those around him, or to see any of his friends hurt or upset. Because of this, he often keeps secrets and tells lies to keep them happy, even if it means breaking their trust in him.

「Biography」

Fei grew up in a family of talented watch and clockmakers in central London. His parents worked hard to make a comfortable living, and to pay for his private education. Since a young age, Fei had always been very quiet and reserved. He would prefer tinkering with gears and clocks over making friends or going outside. 

He lived a comfortable life with loving parents, but it all ended soon after his mother suffered a severe workplace accident. She received a commission to do some maintenance work for a tall clock tower in west London. Post-accident, his mother was triplegic; no longer being able to move her legs, nor the right side of her body. His personality took a turn for the worse as his father could not bare the financial and emotional strain of caring and providing for a crippled wife, and eventually left him and his mother. Over time, Fei began skipping school, was easily irritated, and picked fights with anyone who annoyed him. Not wanting to see the state his mother was in, he never visited her at the hospital, nor did he answer any calls. He spent a majority of his time in the forest to avoid his caretaker, who would keep pestering him to visit his mother.

Having no friends or a home to return to, he spent his days quietly in a nearby forest. As the days passed, he met a young girl around his age who also frequented his hiding place in the clearings. She was the very definition of patience, kindness, and gentleness. Though he was hostile towards her, she would smile and accept him for who he is, and never pressed him for answers. She was always at that clearing of the forest every day, at the same time, and holding a small plush toy in the shape of a deer. Through spending time with her, he eventually grew a desire to become kind and understanding towards those around him as well. He began to visit his mother at the hospital, and slowly made friends at school. As weeks passed, the girl from the forest needed to move away. She gave him her deer as a parting gift, and as a reminder to stay kind.

Bringing home his new fluffy companion, Fei had a curious idea. The soft ticking of the clocks had always reminded him of a beating heart: constant, present, and alive. He carefully opened the deer through an incision from the back, and placed a small, windable clock that he crafted from the left over materials of his mother’s completed clocks. Sewing up the fabric with a small winding key protruding from the back, he cut the thread, and the toy began to move. Dropping the deer in surprise, he watched in shock as it slowly stood up on unsteady legs, and bowed pleasantly.

As time went on, he experimented with different ways to use his clocks to move various objects. He tested his power’s limits, and documented his findings. He was determined to study and develop his powers so that one day, he can use them to aid workers in dangerous workplace environments to prevent avoidable accidents and casualties like what happened to his mother. Shinnou Academy international HQs eventually detected his powers, and extended him an invitation to their middle school. Realizing that this was the perfect opportunity to further his abilities under the guidance of experts, he convinced his mother to let him enroll at the academy.
